It seems flavour of the month is to bash the XBox 360... it's funny how the media swap sides so readily:

Another article over at Gamasutra talks about the hardware shortages, and says the downward trend of 360 Sales vs PS3 sales was already evident:
Other articles are claiming the shortages are Microsoft cleaning out the old stock for a new SKU, this is possibly backed up by Amazon listing all 360 SKU's as discontinued...

Some websites are claiming Microsoft are pulling out of the Console market based on what is probably an error at Amazon...
I think Microsoft might have a big announcement at GDC... I'm hoping for the XBox 720 with built in Blu Ray, better than Cell processor and far superior Graphics card... and with no RROD or drive problems... or maybe it's just a new virtual world add on for XBL similar to second life... they must have something up their virtual sleeves though... XBL WoW on the 360... maybe Final Fantasy is going Multiplatform... anyone got any news?
