Gah was talking about having problems last night, obviously wasnt just him 
i didnt go online just played single player offline.
Some Live users still has experiencing matchmaking and voice chat issues
According to xbox.com some users are still having matchmaking and voice chat issues following recent server maintenance. MS: Users may experience difficulties when matchmaking and using client voice communication within Xbox LIVE. We are aware of the problem and working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

yeah and LIVE would also randomly disconnect from time to time.
Haven't been on today but here's hoping these issues are sorted out

I pulled an all nighter last night, havnt gone to sleep since Wednesday night Still missed you again tho Gah :/
I was playing single player offline and also watching a movie or two, didnt think you would be on until the morning. I went on to multiplayer around 3am and played for a while.
I didnt have any issues with connecting and the games loaded fairly quickly.
The only issue i had was my connection showing in the red on all games, not sure why that was.
I enjoyed it and looking forward to playing peeps i know.

yeah i was on Friday morning but went to bed at about 10 last night as i have work today.
If your getting red ping it just means the host is probably from the US or Europe. If that's the case just leave the lobby and look for a new match. Eventually you should at leat get a yellow ping rate or hopefully green. Unfortunately COD4 suffers from migrating hosts which prefer US connections, thus even if you have adsl 2 but a few yanks come on, one of them will become the host, thus nullifying any advantage of ADSL 2.
You in for a few games sunday at 2pm. We can play a few private matches to get your skills up before we jump into the ranked matches.

last night was really bad on live, would get into a match and then get disconnected or really really lagged. was just mean the whole team would get disconnected and then it got worse and was taking longer so i gave up grrrrrr

hmm that doesn't sound to good V.
Scott and I were on this morning playing GTA 4 and we didn't have any dramas. Maybe it was just a COD thing

That reminds me did anyone actually get the free game that was offered when XBL craps it's panties over the Christmas hols? I don't recall getting it.

They only made it free for 24hr (maybe 48hr) - if you didnt get it at that time you missed out.
I missed out, i couldnt find it on XBL to download, very convenient i thought

yeah they made it free for a couple of days i think, the title was Undertow
I picked it up, played it once and didn't think it was much chop so i haven't touched it again

I only seem to be having lag issues with CoD4. GTA IV has been performing exceptionally well, and CoD 4 had only played up on me last night, prior to that all OK for me, I missed the dramas over Christmas as well - no worries with connectivity.
