Anyone tried these demos below ??
Lair Demo released in Hong Kong
According to reports, a Lair demo is now available only in the Hong Kong Playstation Store and comes in at a whopping 1919MB. It is unclear when or if the demo will be released in other regions.
Iron Man demo on Live tomorrow
Sega have announced that a demo for Iron Man will be available for download on Xbox Live tomorrow on the PSN "in the near future." The game is set for simultaneous release on PS3/PS2/PSP/DS/Xbox 360/Wii/PC when the movie is release on May 2.
Metal Gear Online Beta available for downlod
Those in North America with a key will now be able to download the Metal Gear Online Beta which comes in at 741mb.

Sweet, I can get Lair for $50 at the local game store, so I'll try the demo out... I picked up FolkLore for $40 the other day... it's pretty cool...
IronMan was a cool comic / anime movie... hoping the new movie / game is cool too...

I tried the Lair demo last night and i wasnt impressed by the lighting. Not sure if it was just the demo or not but it was very hard to actually see anything. It was like watching thru a bottle, very annoying.
I wasnt upset with the sixaxis controller as a method of control, it seemed fairly natural. I didnt get a chance to try the analog sticks to see if any easier. On the ground it was a lot like Dynasty warriors with the dragon burning and slashing thru men like wheat. In the air it was a little hard to get used to the targeting and fight system but it has potential for some diversion. Something different from just shooting enemy planes down.
Definately glad i didnt get it as a launch title. Worth $50 - i think so, at least to have played it properly.
I seriously hope the obscurred/darkened view is only in the demo but am at a loss as to why they would do that for the demo only.

I played it a little back a few months ago and I didn't really like it. There were problems with the graphics weird intersecting and the like. I think I'll stick with the rest of the world on this one and avoid it...

I havnt had a chance to play Metal Gear Online yet but i had a quick go at Ironman this morning and it wasnt bad. I need to invert the up/down controls to better enjoy the game but it seemed ok on first impressions. The movie might be a disappointment , not sure it looks real enough from the FMV ive seen so far.
Game is worth a rental when you need a break but not going to buy this one just yet.

so a couple more days to go

Got the Iron Man demo - anyone know how it is any different from Superman Returns LOL....
Nah graphics and all that are good, kids love it.
